Scope
This policy explains how the STAROASIA international trade website collects and uses information from business visitors. Privacy questions may be sent to info@staro.asia.
Information collected
Enquiry forms may collect name, business name, work email, phone, country, buyer/seller role, product or service interest, trade direction, product identity, origin/destination, original brand name, relationship to the brand, product identifiers, specifications, message, authorisation confirmation, consent record, IP-derived security data and submission timestamps. Google Analytics may also process page visits, referral information, device/browser details, approximate location derived from IP address and website interactions.
Purpose
Information is used to review and respond to enquiries, prevent abuse, maintain security, understand website use, improve content and lead journeys, keep business records and comply with applicable law. It is not sold as personal data.
Essential website analytics
The website uses Google Analytics 4 measurement ID G-0FRQE06KR4 as an essential operational measurement service for website performance, security monitoring and lead-journey management. Google Analytics is enabled by default and loads when pages are used. It may process cookies or similar identifiers, page interactions, referral information, device/browser details and approximate location derived from IP address.
Enquiry email delivery
When enabled, validated enquiry details are transmitted through Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES) by encrypted SMTP so the STAROASIA trade desk can receive an administrative notification. The notification is addressed to the designated STAROASIA mailbox; the visitor’s email is used as the reply-to address. Amazon processes this information as an email service provider under its applicable terms and data-protection arrangements.
Partner links
STARO.in is a separate partner organisation. Selecting an external STARO.in link takes the visitor to its website. STAROASIA does not automatically transfer an enquiry to STARO.in.
Storage and retention
Validated enquiries and limited delivery/security records are stored in protected systems and may be transmitted through contracted service providers. Records are retained only as reasonably necessary for enquiry handling, business records, security, dispute prevention and applicable legal obligations.
Rights and contact
Applicable privacy rights depend on the visitor and jurisdiction. A visitor may write to info@staro.asia to request an appropriate review of personal information connected with a business enquiry. Identity and legal requirements may need to be verified before a request is actioned.
Commercial transactions remain subject to separate written terms, checks and responsibilities agreed by the relevant parties.
