Common product formats
Blocks and slabs support further fabrication. Tiles and calibrated flooring support modular installation. Flagstones, pavers, cobbles, setts, kerbs, steps, risers, coping and walling serve landscape and architectural applications. Cladding, mosaics, panels and CNC-cut elements serve decorative or custom requirements.
Surface finishes
Natural, cleft, honed, polished, flamed, brushed, sandblasted, shot-blasted, tumbled and other finishes create different visual and tactile results. Terminology can vary, and finish may affect colour, texture, maintenance and use. Confirm the actual finish on a representative sample.
Edges and fabrication
Sawn, hand-cut, tumbled, bevelled, bullnose, chamfered, rebated and custom profiles should be defined by drawing or sample when precision matters. Pool coping, stairs and façade details need particular attention to profiles, joints and installation interfaces.
Dimensions and tolerance
Nominal size is not the same as agreed tolerance. State length, width, thickness, calibration, squareness and permissible variation. Random paving, free-length material and natural split products need their own acceptance description.
Visual range and performance
Natural stone can vary in colour, tone, fossils, veins, texture and markings. Agree a visual range and exclusions. Test data may help project professionals assess characteristics, but it does not replace project-specific design, installation and maintenance decisions.
