Product identity and recipe profile

State the product type, flavour, spice level, ingredients to include or avoid and dietary positioning you need evaluated. Do not assume that a familiar product name means the same recipe, ingredient list or legal description in every market.

Pack and channel

Define pack size, material, retail or food-service channel, branded or private-label requirement, carton configuration and expected order quantity. Packaging must support product protection as well as destination labelling.

Shelf life and storage

State the minimum remaining shelf life needed on arrival, anticipated transport conditions and retail storage. Product formulation, processing and packaging determine the shelf-life evidence available from the proposed manufacturer.

Ingredients, allergens and testing

Identify allergen, additive, contaminant, microbiological, residue or nutrition requirements applicable to the buyer programme and destination. Confirm the exact manufacturer documentation and testing scope for the proposed supply.

Destination-market labelling

Provide destination, language, importer information, nutrition format, date marking, claims and any market-specific label rules. Regulatory acceptance must be independently confirmed before placing goods on the market.
